Research Assistant - Data Collection at Darkpore Media Africa

Job Summary

• This role supports the research team by collecting, organizing, and entering accurate data gathered from online sources into standardized templates.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct research using available online resources to locate and verify relevant data
• Input collected data accurately into (Google Sheets/Google Docs/Excel)
• Maintain clear and well-organized digital files and documents
• Track and log work hours using a time management tool
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and formatting consistency
• Communicate task progress, issues, or data gaps to the team lead promptly
• Collaborate with other team members to meet set deadlines

Requirements
Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Docs
• Familiarity with time-tracking tools like (Clockify, Toggl, etc.)
• Familiarity with project management tools like
• Strong online research and data-gathering ability
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and focus during work hours
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Eligibility

• This role is part of a youth-focused development project and is therefore limited to candidates aged 25 or younger.
