Key Responsibilties

• Research and identify newsworthy stories and developments; conduct interviews with relevant individuals, organizations, and stakeholders.
• Attend events, press conferences, meetings, and other assignments to gather information; write clear, accurate, balanced, and engaging news reports.
• Develop story ideas and investigative leads; build and maintain professional relationships with sources and stakeholders; meet daily, weekly, and assignment-specific deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field; at least 1 year experience in journalism or reporting is preferred.
• Excellent writing, research, and interviewing skills; strong knowledge of journalistic ethics and reporting standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; ability to work independently and as part of a newsroom team; willingness to travel for assignments when required.
