Turing.com is looking for a Principle AWS Cloud Engineer on behalf of an industry-leading company in intelligence-driven cybersecurity. As an engineer, you will work primarily in research and development (R&D) to design and implement the core applications which can scale to petabytes of data, while offering guidance for cost models and best practices for AWS cloud services. The company makes it possible to correlate tens of millions of threat indicators against real-time network activity logs. They are trusted by over 1,500 public and private sector organizations. Job Responsibilities:
Work closely in research and development to design and implement the core applications for scale to petabytes of data
Maintain big data in the cloud, including storage management and real-time analytics
Guide other team members about the cost models and best practices for AWS cloud services
Work in an agile development environment to create game-changing security products
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math (or equivalent experience)
Must have 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer
Deep understanding and experience of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP databases, NoSQL storage, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting, and Dashboard development
Track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
Advanced knowledge of the AWS services, specifically using ElasticCache, DynamoDB, Lambda, RDS, and EBS
Experience writing code in Python and Java
Hands-on experience leading large-scale global data warehousing/lake and analytics projects
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hive/Spark
Prior experience with AWS cloud certification is a plus
