    Release Manager

    About You:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in release management or a similar role, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
    • Strong understanding of the iOS and Android application review and release processes.
    • Familiarity with feature branches, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

    About the Position:

    • Coordinate and manage the planning, development, testing, and deployment of software releases across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery.
    • Work closely with product teams, the QA team, and the SRE team to establish a clear release schedule and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the iOS and Android application review and release processes, ensuring compliance with platform-specific guidelines and requirements.
    • Develop and enforce best practices for release management, including branch management, versioning, and continuous integration.
    • Proactively identify and address potential risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the release lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
    • Monitor the performance of releases, conducting post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimise future release processes.
    • Continuously stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in release management, advocating for the adoption of new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
