We are seeking a Relationship Officer, Export Logistics to manage client relationships, ensure smooth export operations, and provide expert guidance on customs clearing, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
This role involves coordinating shipments, resolving export challenges, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for export clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and assist clients with customs processes.
Guide and support clients through the export customs clearing process, including NXP, BKG confirmation, NESS processing, NDLEA and DSS clearance, and the Inspection Act process.
Collaborate with customs authorities to facilitate smooth shipment movement and resolve delays.
Oversee the entire export process, including shipment tracking and coordination with freight forwarders.
Maintain accurate export documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Identify growth opportunities and promote EFL’s export services.
Keep detailed records, analyze client feedback, and generate operational reports.
Work collaboratively with the team and stay informed on industry trends.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in export logistics and supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and export operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
