Relationship Manager, Asset Management at AVA Capital Group

JOB SUMMARY

• We are looking for a results-driven Relationship Manager to support the Asset Management team with conducting client prospecting research, client conversion, risk analysis, preparing financial, asset management and investment reports, product development and enhancing, reviewing policies and developing strategies to maximize asset growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assists to effectively monitor clients' investments, provide adequate and timely financial advisory to clients.
• Participates in updating Operating and Capital Improvement budgets.
• Effective client relationship management to ensure client retention.
• Deposit mobilization across all products to ensure an increase in organizations' Asset Under Management.
• Assists in designing, developing, implementing and documenting Asset Management processes, procedures and tools.
• Provide support in collecting and interpreting Asset data and work closely with external teams and vendors to ensure accuracy of the data.
• Assists in the annual budgeting and business planning process.
• Participates in audits of AVA GAM's Asset Management database for accuracy and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining and increasing effectiveness through continuous process improvement.
• Assists in data analysis and evaluate various business lines.
• Collaborates with the Asset Management Team to assist in evaluating the financial viability of capital improvement projects and new lines of business.
• Participates in developing capital markets initiatives.
• Assists the Portfolio Manager with investment due diligence and other various projects.
• Assists in other areas of the Department and Company as necessary.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related course from a reputable University.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be proficient in the use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Team player.
• Ability to think critically with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Excellent quantitative skills with an interest in Analytics/Data.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Capable of handling multiple client accounts simultaneously while working in a high-pressure environment.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
