Job Overview

Our client, a reputable diagnostic center in Lagos, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry. This role is critical to ensuring excellent patient care and supporting the operations of the diagnostic center.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after diagnostic procedures.
2. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, ensuring they are comfortable and understand the procedures.
3. Monitor patients’ vital signs and promptly address any concerns during their stay.
4. Collaborate with radiologists, laboratory technicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate and efficient diagnostics.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results, medical history, and treatment plans.
6. Adhere to infection control policies, health, and safety standards within the diagnostic center.
7. Provide guidance and education to patients about post-diagnostic care and follow-up steps.
8. Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment used in diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license in Nigeria.
2. Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a diagnostic or healthcare setting.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Basic knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures is an advantage.
