Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive midwifery care to pregnant women throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
• Conduct prenatal assessments, monitor fetal development, and manage complications when necessary.
• Assist and support mothers during labor and delivery, ensuring the safe birth of babies.
• Offer postnatal care, including breastfeeding support, maternal health education, and baby care guidance.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for mothers and babies.
• Educate and counsel families on reproductive health, family planning, and parenting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards in midwifery practice.

Qualifications:

• Registered Midwife with a valid practicing license in Nigeria.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in midwifery care.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of maternal and neonatal health.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
