    Regional Business Development Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    • We are seeking a highly driven, commercially aggressive, and results-oriented Regional Business Development Managers to lead the market penetration, customer acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic partnerships for our Telemedicine Digital Health Platform across Nigeria.
    • The ideal candidates will have strong experience in field sales leadership, institutional sales, healthcare partnerships, regional market expansion, and B2B/B2G commercial growth.
    • The role requires someone capable of driving rapid adoption of digital healthcare solutions across hospitals, HMOs, pharmacies, corporate organizations, government institutions, NGOs, and underserved communities.
    • This is a highly performance-driven role with aggressive sales and expansion targets.
    • The successful candidate must demonstrate strong execution ability, regional market intelligence, relationship management skills, and the resilience required to scale a fast-growing health-tech platform in Nigeria.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Regional Market Penetration & Expansion

    • Drive aggressive market penetration strategies within assigned regions across Nigeria
    • Develop and execute regional go-to-market plans
    • Identify high-potential markets, institutions, and partnership opportunities
    • Expand platform visibility and customer adoption across urban and semi-urban locations
    • Lead territory mapping and market intelligence gathering
    • Establish regional sales channels and partnership networks

    Revenue Generation & Sales Growth

    • Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
    • Drive subscription sales and platform onboarding
    • Generate institutional sales opportunities and close high-value deals
    • Increase active users and recurring revenue within assigned territories
    • Identify monetization opportunities across healthcare ecosystems
    • Build sustainable pipelines for long-term revenue growth

    Strategic Partnership Development

    • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with:

    Field Sales Leadership & Activation

    • Coordinate regional field sales activities and outreach campaigns
    • Lead sales activations, healthcare outreaches, and awareness drives
    • Organize product demonstrations and stakeholder presentations
    • Supervise regional sales agents, business mobilizers, and activation teams where applicable
    • Monitor field performance and market feedback

    Lead Generation & Pipeline Management

    • Generate qualified leads through direct prospecting and networking
    • Build and manage a healthy sales funnel
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
    • Convert prospects into paying clients and active users
    • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reports
    • Track conversion rates and sales performance metrics

    Stakeholder Engagement & Representation

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Healthcare executives
    • Medical directors
    • Insurance providers
    • Government officials
    • Community leaders
    • Regulatory stakeholders
    • Professional healthcare associations
    • Represent the company at:
    • Industry events
    • Conferences
    • Healthcare forums
    • Trade exhibitions
    • Government engagements

    Product Commercialization & Market Feedback

    • Work closely with marketing, technology, medical, and operations teams
    • Provide customer and market feedback for product improvement
    • Support localization and adaptation strategies for regional markets
    • Identify customer pain points and emerging healthcare trends

    Compliance & Regulatory Awareness

    • Maintain working knowledge of:
    • Telemedicine regulations in Nigeria
    • Healthcare compliance requirements
    • NDPR/data privacy regulations
    • Digital healthcare operational standards
    • Medical licensing frameworks
    • Ensure all partnership and sales activities align with regulatory expectations

    Reporting & Performance Analytics

    • Prepare and submit:
    • Weekly sales reports
    • Pipeline reports
    • Regional performance reports
    • Market intelligence reports
    • Revenue forecasts
    • Partnership status reports
    • Track KPIs and provide actionable business insights

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in:

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
