Recovery Officer at TF Microfinance Bank

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Recovery Officer located in Nigeria. The Recovery Officer will be responsible for monitoring and managing overdue accounts.
• Daily tasks will include contacting customers to arrange debt payback, negotiating repayment schedules, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payment plans, and preparing reports on collection activities.
• The officer will also collaborate with other departments to resolve overdue issues and ensure adherence to the bank's recovery policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in debt recovery, debt collection, and loan management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using debt collection software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the microfinance sector
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in customer service or banking is a plus
