Reconciliation Officer at Pact Microfinance Bank

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and exceptions.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding reconciliation items.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for management review.
• Reconcile POS, bank transfers, electronic channels, and settlement accounts.
• Monitor suspense accounts and ensure timely resolution of aged items.
• Support audit, internal control, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Liaise with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve transaction-related issues.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a Microfinance Bank, Commercial Bank, Fintech, POS/Payments company, or related financial institution.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliations, settlements, and transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
