Receivable Accountant at Evans Industries

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Accountant at Evans Industries Limited in Lagos. The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, financial reporting, and management accounting tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Job Description:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
• Prepare Management reports
• Establish and monitor the implementation of accounting control procedure.
• Develop and maintain financial databases.
• Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
• Collect and analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solution to business and financial problems.
• Account payable management
• Fixed asset Management
• Liaise with external Auditor for annual audit and ensure completion in record time.
• Maintain inter-company account between the Company and other related Companies.
• General ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.

Any other role as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Management Accounting skills
• Analytical Skills
• Finance knowledge
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA
• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG industry
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
