React Developer at Maduka University

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and performance-driven React Developer to build and maintain modern, responsive web applications that support academic operations, student portals, e-learning systems, and administrative platforms.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing intuitive user interfaces and ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
• Implement responsive designs across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct debugging, testing, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and system administrators
• Ensure security and data protection best practices are implemented.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2–4 years experience working with React.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management (Redux or similar)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with Git version control systems
• Understanding of responsive and cross-browser development
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Experience developing educational platforms or ERP systems
• Basic understanding of cloud deployment environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
