Job Summary

• We areseeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiographer Intern to join our radiology team in Ughelli.
• This role provides hands-on clinical experience in diagnostic imaging services under the supervision of qualified radiographers and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient reception, preparation, and positioning for radiographic examinations.
• Support senior radiographers during imaging procedures such as X-rays and other diagnostic scans.
• Help ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of radiology equipment and imaging rooms.
• Observe and adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
• Accurately record patient details and imaging information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Provide courteous guidance to patients regarding procedures and preparation requirements.
• Assist in organizing and managing radiology records and imaging reports.
• Support the handling and storage of imaging materials and consumables.
• Follow all departmental policies, hospital guidelines, and professional ethical standards.
• Participate in training sessions, supervision, and continuous learning activities.

Requirements

• Currently graduated from an accredited Radiography programme.
• Strong interest in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical, multidisciplinary environment.
• Basic computer literacy and record-keeping skills.
