Job Description

• Use x-rays and ultrasound imaging technology to perform radiographic examinations
• Produce high-quality images by performing a range of radiographic examinations on patients
• Maintain contact with patients during their waiting, examination, and post-examination stay in the department
• Provide support and reassurance to patients, considering their physical and psychological needs
• Record image identification and patient documentation accurately and quickly, while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Observe health and safety regulations and welfare issues, including ionizing radiation regulations, to protect self and others
• Regularly check equipment for malfunctions and promptly report any faults.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND or OND qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
• A license to practice Radiography.
• Proven experience as a Radiographer
• Good organizational, time management, and analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.
• Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.
• Must be able to handle CR (computed radiography).
• He/ She should be able to take all x ray projections.
• Ability to handle special procedures is an added advantage.
