Job Description

• We currently have job vacancy for the position of Radio Communication Technician. Successful candidates will join our GMDSS Shore Base Maintenance Team.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair radio equipment used for two-way communication and broadcasting
• Perform regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure optimal performance. This includes Marine Radio and Communication Systems
• Assist in the installation of new radio equipment
• Train new users on how to operate Marine Radio Communication Systems radio equipment
• Coordinate with other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in marine radio technology including GMDSS equipment.
• Identify faults, order replacement parts and supplies for radio communication equipments.
• Provide support to customers via phone, email, or in person
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair radio equipment used for GMDSS systems in Vessels.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on radio equipment.
