JOB SUMMARY

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair Of all refrigeration and air conditioning facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems in hatchery and production facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on incubators, cold rooms, ventilation, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, and air quality to maintain optimal hatchery conditions.
• Troubleshoot faults, replace defective components, and restore system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, SOPS, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with hatchery supervisors to support ideal conditions for embryo and chick health.
• Calibrate environmental sensors and train staff on system care and safety procedures.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Trade Test 1/11/111, OND, or Technical Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2—4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in agro-processing, poultry, or food industries.
• Strong knowledge Of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and cold room management.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and use Of diagnostic tools.
