Sapir Projects Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the cost management of construction and interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring budgets are maintained and value is delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project cost estimation, budgeting, and overall cost control to ensure financial efficiency.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and oversee the tendering and bidding process
Monitor project costs, valuations, and variations, including updating budgets based on design or scope changes
Review drawings and specifications to determine accurate quantity and quality requirements
Provide clear cost reports, analysis, and periodic updates to support decision-making.
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
Conduct market surveys and support procurement by tracking materials and pricing.
Requirements
B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying
Must reside in Lagos State.
3+ years of relevant experience in a construction or design environment.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or similar is a plus).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
