Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure construction projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Prepare tender and contract documents and evaluate contractor quotations.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analyses from drawings and specifications.
• Value completed work and prepare interim and final payment certificates.
• Monitor variations, claims, and contract changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients on cost-related matters.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and procurement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract administration, and construction procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
