Salary Range: ₦ 180,000 – ₦ 230,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of our quality control operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. (Expertise in plastic manufacturing processes will be an added advantage). 

You will play a key leadership role in maintaining product integrity, developing inspection protocols, mentoring QC teams, and implementing robust quality systems that align with ISO and customer-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Control Department to ensure all products meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and testing protocols for plastic manufacturing processes (e.g., extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, compounding).
• Oversee inspection procedures—including incoming raw materials, in-process checks, and final product testing—to identify and correct quality issues promptly.
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor key quality metrics (KPIs) such as defect rates, scrap levels, and customer complaints, and present findings to senior management.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, SOPs, and control plans in accordance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
• Lead internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
• Train and mentor quality control staff, promoting a culture of accountability and quality excellence.
• Partner with R&D to ensure new products and materials meet required specifications and performance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/ HND in Any reputable Universities.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in quality control or quality management (plastic manufacturing industry added advantage).
• Proven expertise in plastic material testing, molding processes, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar quality management systems.
• Experience with SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Willingness to relocate.
