Quality Control (QC) Supervisors – Flexible Packaging at 4 Quarters Consultants Limited

Location: AGBARA & OTA OGUN STATE.

Salary : Negotiable. 

Key responsibilities

A QC supervisor\'s duties span the entire production lifecycle, from inspecting raw materials to evaluating finished goods including:

• Manage the testing and sampling of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Supervise, Train and Review the work of the QC team on proper inspection, testing, and documentation procedures.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inspections, testing, and quality assurance protocols.
• Investigate customer complaints and issues of non-conformance. Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report findings to management, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain all management Systems documentation, prepare for all external audits and Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HALAL 
• Work with production, research and development (R&D), maintenance, HSE and other departments to resolve quality issues and enhance manufacturing processes. 

Essential skills and qualifications

• Educational background: A bachelor\'s degree in a relevant science field.
• Industry experience: Minimum 3years experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in food packaging manufacturing.
• Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, printing, and lamination processes. 
• Quality management expertise: In-depth knowledge of HACCP and management of Certification audit.
• Soft skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to lead and motivate a team
