Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Tester with hands-on experience in testing software solutions prior to deployment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing and the identification of any defects or issues.
• Your expertise in quality assurance practices and methodologies will be invaluable in ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards before they are released to our clients.
• You will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, design effective test plans, execute test cases, and provide valuable feedback to enhance the overall quality of our software.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of software solutions to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software functionality, design, and implementation
• Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
• Participate in test plan reviews and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent testing processes and best practices are followed
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements
• Provide timely and detailed feedback to the development team regarding software quality and performance issues
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance testing, specifically in testing software solutions prior to deployment
• Strong understanding of quality assurance practices, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Experience with bug-tracking tools and test management systems
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of programming languages and automation testing tools is a plus.
