Quality Assurance Tester at Mactavis Technologies Ltd

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Design test plans, scenarios, and procedures.
• Execute test cases under varying circumstances
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Document and evaluate test results
• Detect, log, and report program bugs and glitches
• Track defects and help troubleshoot errors
• Review test procedures and develop test scripts
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements and skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• High attention to detail, solid analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Good working knowledge of programming languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Strong organizational skills
