Quality Assurance Supervisor at Vitafoam Nigeria Plc

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in driving quality assurance system and activities in the production processes to ensure that finished products released to the market meet required specifications and performance claims.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct the in-process checks during production of polyurethane foam slabs
• Conduct regular quality inspection of other production processes and report on deviations from process specifications and procedures.
• Assist in coordinating the inspection and release of finished products from the factory floor.
• Assist in collating and analyzing quality-related statistical data to establish quality and reliability of raw materials and products.
• Assist in carrying out root cause analysis and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other process owners.
• Coordinate quality assurance laboratory activities involving finished products and raw materials testing.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• First degree in sciences or other related fields
• 2-3 years experience in similar role
• Experience in a manufacturing or foam industry is an added advantage
• Attention to details
• Good communication & organizational skills
