Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector at Universal Homes FZE

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector at Universal Homes FZE in Epe.
• The role will involve conducting quality control inspections, implementing quality assurance procedures, managing quality control processes, and performing inspections for construction work and materials as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
• Inspect the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications.
• Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
• Work with QA/QC Supervisors to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality of work.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications
• Ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Prepare daily QA/QC reports
• Note and report on work that does not meet requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational qualifications in Building and Construction or Civil Engineering from a reputable Institution or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role/environment at least 2 years.
• Continuous improvement attitude.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining quality, safety and profitability.
• Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
• Able to work within the project framework(s) and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
