Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and log samples from the plant and vendors
• Accurately prepare samples, conduct analysis, interpret and record results in lab databases
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
• Perform proper rotation and/or disposal of reserved samples
• Participate in continuous improvement of the food safety management system
• Conduct line inspections of production processes
• Enforce GMP compliance on factory premises
• Promote a strong food safety culture within the plant

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Food Science, Microbiology, or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices
