Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify software defects and ensure product reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on quality goals.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.
• Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test case design, test execution, and defect management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation purposes.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• ISTQB certification or any other relevant QA certification is a plus.
• Previous work in a Fintech environment is an added advantage
