Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. The role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Control

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing
• Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment

Automation & Tools

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Improve test coverage and testing efficiency
• Use testing tools to monitor performance and reliability

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Recommend improvements to QA processes and development workflows

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain test documentation and quality reports
• Provide clear feedback on risks, issues, and release readiness
