The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions developed for FMM and RollPay. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing testing processes to identify and address potential issues before release, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure thorough understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant teams.
Conduct regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure application stability and performance.
Stay updated on best practices for testing frameworks and methodologies suitable for Next.js, TypeScript, and NestJS applications.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency in testing processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for QA processes.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving development and QA processes.
Stay updated on the latest QA tools, methodologies, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably with applications built using modern web frameworks.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile testing practices.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
Familiarity with testing TypeScript-based applications and debugging complex frontend and backend interactions.
Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript for creating automated test scripts.
Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
Knowledge of testing styling frameworks such as Styled-Components and Tailwind CSS for frontend consistency.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
