What You’ll Do
Autochek is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who will help develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).
Responsibilities
Accurately assess software quality through manual and automated testing with the aim of finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet business needs.
Execute test cases and test matrices in different phases of testing like GUI Testing, Functional, Regression, Integration Testing, End-to-End testing, System and User Acceptance testing
Define the overall strategy and approach for managing testing of projects according to the differences in resources and constraints.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Contributed to process improvement and innovation and influenced other departments to support changes to improve software standards/quality.
Requirements
Strong experience in software quality assurance (Web/Mobile/API)
Experience creating QA Strategy, Test Plan, and other QA-related documents.
Experience in Quality Assurance methods, tools, terminology, and industry practices
Good verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of Software Testing Cycle in Agile process model
Experience with test automation frameworks (Hybrid, Test Driven, Data-Driven, etc).
Hands-on working experience Selenium WebDriver / Appium.
Hands-on experience in programming language for automation script development.
