• Afriex is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards before release to the public.
• In this role, you will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, validating fixes, and working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and user-friendly experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for API, web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues before release
• Ensure software meets quality, performance, and reliability standards
• Support release readiness by confirming that all checks are completed before public launch
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing strategies, and overall product quality

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience
• Experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Strong understanding of manual and/or automated testing methods
• Ability to detect issues, analyze root causes, and communicate findings clearly
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality products
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
