    Quality Assurance Associate

    Job Summary

    • The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for ensuring the implementation and sustenance of policies, assist the Lead, Quality Assurance in providing advice and guidance concerning quality assurance systems and their implementation in line with business strategy and international best practice in the Health industry.

    Key Responsibilties

    • Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure that products and services meet customer and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform regular inspections and tests on products and processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
    • Identify areas for improvement and communicate findings to relevant departments.
    • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
    • Prepare for and participate in external audits by regulatory bodies or certification organizations.
    • Provide training to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
    • Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Keen eye for detail to identify defects and deviations from quality standards.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to improve quality.’
    • Familiarity with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and regulatory requirements specific to the industry.
    • Proficiency in using quality control tools, testing equipment, and software for data analysis and reporting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and communicate effectively with different departments.

    The Person

    • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any relevant Science degree.
    • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience preferably in the Health or Service sector.
    • Knowledge of ISO and COHSASA standards installation and implementation.
    • Full working Knowledge of the Microsoft office package is required
    • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills with good interpersonal relationship
