QMS & HSE Manager at Business Contracting Limited

We are seeking a highly qualified QMS and HSE Manager to oversee, maintain, and elevate our Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with international standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) while fostering a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement across all operations.

Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS)

System Maintenance: Manage, review, and update the company’s QMS to ensure alignment with ISO 9001 standards.

• Auditing: Lead internal quality audits and serve as the primary liaison during external certification audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Documentation Control: Oversee the structural control of all corporate policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive job safety analyses (JSA) and risk assessments to eliminate workplace hazards.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents or near-misses, determine root causes, and deploy preventive measures.
• Safety Culture: Design and deliver engaging HSE training programs and lead regular safety toolboxes and drills.

Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a combined QMS and HSE management role or senior-level.
• Educational and Professional Qualification 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Certified ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor preferred. Recognized safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH International Diploma, OSHA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

• Other HSE training and certificates.
