Job Summary

• The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• They develop and implement quality control processes, conduct inspections and tests, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and assurance procedures.
• Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
• Inspect materials, processes, and products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Review and approve material and equipment submittals.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports related to quality control activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality compliance.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to production and engineering teams regarding quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a QA/QC role (more for senior roles).
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, or industry-specific standards.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using QA/QC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications like ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in [industry-specific requirement, e.g., construction, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, etc.].
• Knowledge of statistical quality control techniques.
• Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
