The Trademarked brand and product “onfleekQ” is our flagship on-demand booking platform for Beauty and Personal care services & products.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer role at onfleekQ is a contract, hybrid position based in Abuja. The person in this role will design and execute test plans, perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, and verify that new features meet functional and performance requirements. Daily tasks include identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, collaborating with software developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements, and participating in review sessions to improve product quality. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will also contribute to regression testing, support release processes, and help refine quality standards and best practices across the engineering team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices, including test planning and defect management.
Hands-on experience with Manual Testing of web and mobile applications, with attention to detail and systematic test execution.
Understanding of Software Development processes, agile methodologies, and how QA integrates into the development lifecycle.
Familiarity with test case management tools, issue tracking systems, and basic test documentation standards.
Ability to analyze requirements, create clear test scenarios, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience testing booking, e-commerce, or consumer-facing platforms is an advantage, particularly in the beauty or lifestyle sector.
Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms.
Identify, log, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
Ensure final products meet quality standards before deployment.
Provide feedback on UX/UI and suggest improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience in QA testing (web & mobile platforms).
Familiar with tools like Postman, or similar bug tracking systems.
Ability to write and execute test cases.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Based in Abuja and available for 2 days onsite weekly.
