Python / Django Software Developer at Torilo

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of existing products.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Collaborate with your peers from products, design, and engineering in delivering new features and improving functionalities of existing systems.
• Mentor and guide less experienced members of the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional software development experience building Sass products.
• Expertise in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Pytest, and PostgreSQL,
• Strong familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, Vue.js, and Angular and their interaction with REST API.
• Experience integrating apps with third-party payment APIs.
• Experience deploying apps on AWS.
• Strong familiarity with Bash and Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
• Strong understanding of Django ORM.
• Experience with building multi-tenant Saas applications.
• Experience with Docker, Celery, Redis, Gunicorn, and Nginx.
• A passion for delivering clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Excellent detail-oriented, analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Remuneration
N450,000 - N600,000 / Month (highly dependent on experience & qualifications).
