Purchasing Manager at Cedarcrest Hospitals

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money. Lead the end-to-end procurement process for goods, services, and equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and quality.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with hospital needs.
• Monitor market trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance. Collaborate with departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, MCIPS, CIPSSM, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, contract management, and supplier management practices.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
