Project Supervisor at Uncle Stan's Foods

Role Purpose

• The Project Supervisor is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and overseeing all construction, renovation, and outlet development projects for Uncle Stan’s Foods.
• The role supervises projects from concept and architectural design through construction and final delivery. The Project Supervisor prepares outlet designs and construction drawings, initiates project execution, coordinates contractors, and supervises multiple project sites through site supervisors.
• The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to Uncle Stan’s Foods operational and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Project Planning

• Develop concept designs, sketches, and architectural drawings for new Uncle Stan’s Foods outlets.
• Produce layout plans for kitchen workflow, seating, storage areas, service counters, and customer movement.
• Prepare construction drawings and fit-out specifications.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility reviews before project initiation.
• Ensure outlet designs align with operational efficiency and brand standards.

Project Initiation & Planning

• Prepare project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with management for project approvals before construction begins.
• Identify and appoint contractors, artisans, and vendors required for project execution.
• Develop project implementation schedules and milestones.

Multi-Site Project Oversight

• Oversee multiple construction and renovation projects across different locations.
• Assign and supervise Site Supervisors responsible for daily on-site monitoring.
• Ensure site supervisors follow approved drawings, timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to verify project progress.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Coordinate contractors responsible for civil works, electrical installations, plumbing, kitchen equipment installation, signage, and interior finishing.
• Ensure contractor performance aligns with project specifications and deadlines.
• Approve work stages before payment recommendations are made.

Timeline & Budget Management

• Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Track project expenses against approved budgets.
• Identify delays, cost overruns, or resource shortages and implement corrective actions.

Quality Control & Brand Standards

• Ensure construction work adheres to Uncle Stan’s Foods design standards and specifications.
• Review site progress reports submitted by Site Supervisors.
• Ensure outlets are built to support efficient kitchen operations and customer experience.

Project Reporting

• Provide regular project progress updates to the Head of Operations.
• Maintain documentation for design drawings, budgets, contractor agreements, and project schedules.
• Submit project completion reports and performance reviews.

Project Completion & Handover

• Conduct final inspections before project handover.
• Ensure all installations including kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and ventilation are functional.
• Ensure outlets are ready for operational launch.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in architectural design and project management.
• Experience managing multiple construction or fit-out projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural design tools.
• Experience with restaurant, retail, or commercial interior fit-outs is an advantage.
