Project Quantity Surveyor / Procurement at Prestigious Homes Limited

Job Summary

• Prestigious Homes Limited (PHL) is seeking a competent and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Procurement Officer to support the Company's construction and property development operations.
• The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction costing, quantity surveying, procurement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, estimates and material requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and vendors.
• Source construction materials, equipment and services at competitive prices.
• Prepare purchase requests, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Monitor material prices and supplier performance.
• Conduct quantity and cost checks on materials required for projects.
• Support project budgeting, cost control and valuation.
• Verify delivered quantities and specifications against approved requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement and cost records.
• Coordinate with Project, Site, Finance, Stores and other relevant teams.
• Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with approved Company processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Perform other relevant QS/procurement duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in construction, real estate or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, pricing and procurement processes.
• Ability to prepare estimates, BOQs and cost comparisons.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
• Ability to work with project and site teams and meet deadlines.
• Professional certification/membership is an advantage.
