Project Procurement Officer at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Job description:

• Engineering Automation Technology Limited, a leading provider of engineering, construction, Instrumentation & Controls fabrication and Asset integrity solutions services in the oil & gas sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Procurement Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for engineering and technical projects while ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes for project materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved vendors.
• Evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Issue and track Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of project materials.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a reputable higher institution in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field with a minimium of second class upper credit
• Strong knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management.
• Experience with technical procurement and project-based purchasing.
• Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Program (NYSC)
• Ability to adhere to procedures and processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
