Project Planner at Beamco Nigeria Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Study the project scope and develop Work Breakdown Structure WBS.
• Assist in determining project milestones, resources, and budgets in line with the goals and objectives of the project.
• Prepare short and long-term resource/cost allocation based on input from all key players and team members.
• Set up the progress measurement and progress reporting system in accordance with established procedures and client requirements.
• Develop the baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
• Develop the Project Monitoring System (PMS) based on the baseline schedule, maintain, and update weekly.
• Evaluate activities related to change requests and study the impact on schedule.
• Liaise with the technical team to gather site data, update the project schedule, and develop reliable schedule forecasts with support from the project t team.
• Generate the S-curve and in case of delays assist in generation of Recovery Plan.
• Regularly review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project progress reports for management review.
• Liaise with procurement and logistics on pricing, ordering, shipping, and delivery activities.

QUALIFICATION:

• Education Background; B.Sc./ B. Eng in science, engineering, or related field
• Years of experience; Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Certified PMP, PMI-SP, CAPM will be an advantage.
• IT Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Project, Outlook Shared Point, and excellent Excel skills
