Project Manager at CITCC Nigeria Limited

Job Duties

• Ensure effective team management on Optical Fiber route survey(Route choice, Site BOQ, Drawing of design, Statistics of the main technical parameters)
• Must be able to manage and lead a team on the use of project related industrial equipment such as, but not limited to OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Optical Source, Fusion machine, Fiber Identifier, etc.
• Write regional proposals and coordinate with management on its implementation
• Identify regional work procedures to prepare schedules and expedite workflow
• Create and implement technical inspections and quality assurance procedures for the region
• Preparation and overall supervision of technical documents and reports for the region
• Inspection, approval and Signing-off of all Implementation and as-built-drawings steps and documentation
• Technical discussion and problem resolutions with clients, vendors and sub-contractors in the region
• Maintain excellent business relationships with clients, vendors and sub-contractors
• Resolves community issues as well as other site issues that are beyond the capacity of the project managers in the region
• Assign duties to team members and determine work exactness, neatness and policy conformation
• Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders
• Communicate and ensure smooth workflow between departments, project staff and contractors
• Develop and manage project implementation policies and processes
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools for the region
• Proffer cost cutting strategies for each project while showing loyalty, honesty, transparency and dedication to duties
• Ensure compliance of project efforts with company’s health, safety and environmental policies.
• Provide constant feedback to management on team activities and project progress
• Provide Trainings to Team members and subordinates

Professional Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor degree in any Engineering field
• COREN and NSE membership will be an added advantage
