Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of projects within established deadlines and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of each project. Additionally, the Project Engineer will provide regular reports to the Project Manager regarding the overall progress, and status of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor and track the progress of projects, identifying any issues or delays, and proposing solutions.
• Report to the Project Manager regularly on the overall project status, progress, and any issues or risks that may impact timelines or deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure alignment of project objectives.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to management, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations during the project lifecycle.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that deliverables meet the required specifications and industry standards.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
• At least 5 years of experience in project engineering
• Strong understanding of ELV, HP, LP, and instrumentation projects
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software
• Familiarity with engineering design processes and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience in managing large-scale or complex projects.
