Project Engineer at Beam Energy Limited

Responsibilities
Project Planning:

• Prepares Budget and time schedules for Projects.
• Prepares Project Design Drawings, Shop Drawings and “As Built Drawing
• Ensure Proper handling of Company Tools and Equipment as well as Maintenance.
• Reads and understands Contract Documents

Financial Management:

• Monitors and controls allotted Resources for effective, efficient and timely service delivery.
• Adheres strictly to Cost Monitoring Procedure.
• Liaises with Superior / General Manager to ensure provision of necessary resources for Project Delivery

Project/Site Coordination:

• Provides Technical Evaluation of Sub-contractors and commercial inputs.
• Attends site meetings with Clients and other Contractors on site.
• Ensures compliance with and implementation of Quality Control procedure for all incoming materials.
• Delegates authority and ensures subordinates are adequately engaged.
• Supervise the Technician and Sub-Contractors on site during Installation.
• Ensures cordial relationships with Clients.

Project Reporting:

• Ensures regular preparation and submission of project progress reports on agreed format and at agreed time.
• Creates effective communication and feedback systems for interfaces

Project Monitoring:

• Monitors progress of Projects and resolves all Project matters timely
• Measures Performance of Subordinates

Project Implementation:

• Manages unforeseen crisis to ensure successful Project execution

Project Design:

• Develops and supervise the draughting of Drawings for Specific Projects
• Develops Bill of Quantities for Projects from shop drawings and from Consultant / Clients drawings for the purpose of tendering .

Tendering:

• Assists in Tendering Processes.
• Provide Technical Support to the Proposal and Business Development Team
