• The Project Account Officer plays a vital role in keeping track of project cost and reporting same in a manner that will be useful for management decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage credit accounts and accounts payable/receivable, including customer invoices and supplier bills.
• Handle payment processing and account settlements.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Monitor and keep track of project cost.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with government agencies and external bodies to ensure timely filing and compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Communicate with customers, management, and suppliers to resolve financial matters.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Proficient in any accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
