Programs Manager at Restored Heart Foundation

RHF is seeking a Programs Manager to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of its program’s activities across all its project locations.

Job Description

The Program Manager will lead the program departments of the Foundation, ensuring that projects are implemented effectively, documented properly, and delivered in line with organizational objectives and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day implementation of assigned projects activities.
• Develop workplans, activity plans, budgets, and program documents.
• Coordinate field activities, partners, volunteers, and other project stakeholders.
• Track program outputs, outcomes, timelines, and budgets.
• Prepare quality program reports, proposals, and donor updates.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and documentation of the Foundation’s impact.
• Identify program risks and recommend practical mitigation measures.
• Support resource mobilization, partnerships, and new program development.

Required Skills

• Strong program/project management skills.
• Proposal development and grant writing skills
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Monitoring, evaluation, and data management skills.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Project Management, International Relations, or a related field.
• A relevant postgraduate or professional qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• 6-8 years’ experience in program/project management, preferably within an NGO, development organization, or social-impact organization.
• Professional experience managing community-based projects and producing program reports.
• Experience working with donors, government agencies, CSOs, or development partners is an advantage.
