We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Trainer based in Enugu State to deliver impactful training on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Climate Change to school children in off-grid, underserved communities without access to electricity.
Responsibilities
Deliver age-appropriate, engaging training sessions on SDGs and climate change to school children in underserved, off-grid communities in Enugu State
Develop and adapt training materials suitable for young learners with limited resources
Travel within Enugu State to schools and communities without reliable power access
Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for children
Track and report on participant progress and training outcomes
Support curriculum development and program improvements
Represent the Solardero Foundation with professionalism and compassion in all community engagement
Requirements
Education: HND or equivalent; a background in Environmental Science, Development Studies, Education, or related field is an added advantage
Experience: 2–5 years in training, teaching, or community engagement
Skills:
Strong knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate change concepts
Experience working with children or young learners is essential
Excellent facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills
Ability to deliver training in low-resource, off-grid environments
Based in Enugu State or willing to relocate
Empathetic, patient, and mission-driven
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Igbo or other local languages is a strong advantage.
