• We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruitment Officer to drive the recruitment efforts for our Semicolon Techpreneurship Program. The ideal candidate will manage education programs, screen and enroll prospective students passionate about software engineering, and collaborate with marketing, academics, and operations teams to ensure a seamless process. This role requires strong presentation skills for conducting information sessions and focuses on achieving targeted recruitment numbers, ensuring a good fit between learners and our programs, and facilitating effective onboarding and transition for new students.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies:

Collaborate with the marketing team:

• To design and execute effective recruitment campaigns to attract prospective students.
• To utilize various channels, including social media, online platforms, career fairs, and partnerships with educational institution

Prospect Engagement:

Collaborate with the marketing team:

• To identify and reach out to potential candidates through targeted outreach
• To conduct information sessions and masterclasses for prospective natives and stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective natives via email, phone, and in-person inquiries.

Screening and Selection:

• Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' suitability for the program.
• Provide recommendations for admissions based on thorough evaluation of candidates.

Relationship Management:

• Collaborate with the marketing team:
• To build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and industry partners to create a steady pipeline of applicants.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations, coding boot camps, and other relevant entities.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, applicant data, and progress through the recruitment funnel.
• Analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
• Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and present findings to management.

Event Planning and Participation:

• Collaborate with the marketing team:
• To organize and participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, and online events.
• To represent the organization at external events and networking opportunities to promote the training program.

Candidate Support:

• Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the application process.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new natives to ensure a smooth transition into the program.
