Program Manager - Volunteer at Haske Humanitarian Aid Initiative

Job Description

• The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities within the organization.
• This role involves managing a team, ensuring program goals and objectives are met, and working closely with stakeholders to maximize impact.

Responsibilities 
Some key Responsibilities expected to be carried out by the PM will include but not limited to:

Program Planning and Development:

• Develop and implement program strategies and plans that aligned with organizational goals, vision, mission, core values and objectives
• Design and oversee operational plans, ensuring program activities meet objectives as clearly captured in the Organisation's framework and strategic plan

Project Management:

• Lead program execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, reports and quality standards are met before, during and after implantation.
• Monitor program performance and adapt strategies as necessary to help the organisation achieve its mandates.

Team Leadership:

• The Program Manager shall supervise and mentor program staff, providing guidance and support for professional development, successful activity implementation, tracking and monitoring of progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team work and staff friendly environment that enable each staff members unleash their potentials for personal growth and organisation's advancement.
• He shall also be responsible for the oversight of all program implementation across the states where HHAI operates.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• The PM will in close collaborate and partnership with local communities, governments stakeholders, other Implementating partner organizations enhance program effectiveness and positive outcome
• Represent the organization at meetings, forums, and relevant events that fosters partnership, collaboration and networking.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• In partnership and collaboration with the monitoring and evaluation unit, develop and implement M&E frameworks to assess program impact and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and lessons learned during stakeholder engagement, partner coordination meeting platforms etc.

Budget Management:

• Oversee program budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
• He shall also be responsible for reviewing program staff activity implementation plans which includes planning phase, activity profile, budget, scope of work, agenda etc for a successful delivery.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential program risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• And any other task as may be assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification in management science or any related field with at least 2 years working experience.
