    Production Technician/Shift Head

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate shift operations across production lines to meet daily/weekly output targets.
    • Ensure machines (fillers, blowers, labellers, palletizers, etc.) are properly set up, operated, and maintained.
    • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
    • Troubleshoot machine faults and liaise with the maintenance team for prompt resolution of downtime issues.
    • Supervise, train, and manage shift production staff, including allocation of duties and performance monitoring.
    • Maintain accurate shift production, downtime, and wastage records/reports.
    • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health & Safety procedures on the shop floor.
    • Coordinate changeovers, line clearance, and start-up/shutdown procedures.
    • Escalate critical production or quality issues to the Production Manager promptly.

    Requirements

    • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in a beverage/FMCG production environment, with at least 2 years in a shift supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of bottling/production line machinery and processes.
    • Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, and factory safety standards.
    • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
    • Good communication and reporting skills.
